Beskrivelse af Tennessee Songbird
Rebecca Langley breaks her promise to wait on Aaron Weaver, an aspiring country singer. He is out on the road touring, trying to succeed in the music world. Wealthy Marty Hasselbach and his parents move into the area. They open and operate a lumber mill. With gifts and soft-spoken words, he woos Rebecca. After a whirlwind courtship the two are married. She gives birth to twins, a girl and a boy. Marty's mother doesn't want to share her son, especially not with a backward county girl. She is determined to get Rebecca out of Marty's life. She hires her no-good nephew to frame Rebecca. Marty is given custody of the twins. Rebecca can only visit them once a week. Empty arms and a broken heart leads her to do the unthinkable. Can she outrun the money and the power Marty and his parents possess?
