Sutak

'Sutak' means the twelve day mourning ritual. For Lalita, it lasted 24 years. This is the story of Lalita and Vinodini. Two sisters- Vinodini, people say, is of a 'loose' character. Lalita, her husband says, is frigid. Two sisters, two 'incomplete' women. Mother is dead. At the funeral, it becomes imperative that they confront each other.
