Sunshine Came Softly...

As a child growing up, Darlene Simpkins does not know who her father is. She grows up in poverty with a drunken, loose-moralled mother, who finds a wealthy young man, Harold Murdoch, to blame for her daughter's conception.Fifty years later Darlene is now Matron-in-Charge of a retirement home called Sunshine Gardens, where Harold, now a lonely old man, is a resident. He is being robbed, neglected and abused by the 'daughter' whose maintenance he financed for the first sixteen years of her life.Ted Nelson and a young care worker, Cindy, attempt to help Harold escape from Darlene's clutches, only to be confronted by forces they never even imagined existed.It soon becomes painfully obvious to them that Darlene is the personification of evil - more evil than any human being could possibly be.
