Subprime Indiscretions

Brad Stephens doesn't go looking for trouble. It just seems to find him. And in this case, trouble travels in the guise of a sinister brother and sister combo. Tony and Barbara Bruschetti have been very, very bad kids. When a golf partner is murdered by a sniper in front of Brad's eyes and a second shot travels through his golf bag, Brad is pretty sure he was the target for the second shot. He got lucky, the shooter missed. This time. The whole thing seems to be tied to an old photo of nine men taken in 1994 at a long-forgotten golf tournament. The first two guys killed were in that photo. The next three guys were in it too. And the sixth and seventh. And, yep, that's Brad Stephens, number eight or nine-depending on how you count-standing right there, third from the left, next to the only other man still alive. And that man is the guy who directly or indirectly caused the Great Recession. While Brad uses all of his resources to stay alive, Congress decides it wants to crucify the guy who caused the recession. Guess who they call as a witness? You got it. No doubt about it, trouble has found Brad Stephens...again.
