Strange how something so innocent as a discarded chair left on the roadside, a baby left on firehouse steps or an exquisite ankle tattoo can lead you down twisted paths to places that will never appear in any road atlas. The stories offered herein will take you there if you let them. Along the way you'll meet a corpse sporting a shiny red button grafted into its arm. A magician determined to pierce the veil and return from the dead. A medical implant that cures all diseases, with only one, tiny flaw. Or, a man so terrified of his own shadow he'll go to insane lengths to be rid of it once and for all. Stare straight ahead. Try not to react. There are more trips than these ahead of you. Each one stranger than the one before with no signposts, no familiar landmarks to show you the way. But please, a word of caution before you take your first step-hold on to your imagination.
