Space Captain Adelaide: Shadows of the Fallen

Sucked back into the politics of Earth, Adelaide must determine if the galaxy's greatest enemy has risen from the ashes. With Gil guarding her back, she travels to Tikaani in an Earth Military ship to infiltrate the planet, rescue the locals and escape before they are detected. While there, Adelaide and her small team are captured and imprisoned on an enemy ship. Though daily torture brings Adelaide to the brink of despair, she fights for the survival of her crew and Earth's allies in order to gain intel for the Syndicate. After Taurian's timely rescue of the team, earth continues sending dubious commands causing Adelaide to question her loyalty between her home planet and the Syndicate. What back-end deal is Earth command involved in, and will it ensure the fall of the Syndicate or will the Cradesions be destroyed once and for all? Adelaide must decide who to trust and what is worth saving in this second installment of the Space Captain Adelaide Series
