So Long Hell, We Meet Again

In this collection of poems, I look back at 2020 with all its highs and lows. For many it was a time of loss. I lost a beloved cat. During a pandemic and an election, the world also discovered hope in the form of a vaccine. I adopted a new cat. Inside ourselves, we found compassion and self-determination. In our broken states, we found ourselves. This collection is the final book in a trilogy that looks at events before, during, and after the start of the pandemic. The collection has the same form including humorous verse, prose, haiku, stolen sonnets, and limericks. 2020 is a year to remember; it brought out the best in us.
