So I'm a Vampire's Familiar

Cadence Howard may look like an ordinary sorority girl, but her ambitions are far bigger than her air-head friends. After years of studying the occult, Cadence has discovered that vampires are a legit thing, and she's going to become one. When given the opportunity to become a vampire's familiar, Cadence jumps first and it's only later that she asks questions. When will she become a vampire? Why are there people trying to kill them? What is that smell?
