Beskrivelse af Smart Healthcare: Challenges, Directions and Future Predictions
Smart healthcare makes use of the new generation of information technologies to change the conventional medical system in a comprehensive manner, and make the healthcare more personalized, convenient and efficient. It is responsible for accessing information, connecting institutions, materials and people, which are linked in healthcare systems. It is also engaged in managing and responding to the requirements of the medical ecosystem in a smart manner. There are various applications of smart healthcare, including prevention and risk monitoring of diseases, drug research, assistance in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases, providing virtual assistants and playing an important role in developing smart hospitals. Some of the current challenges in smart healthcare include a lack of programmatic documents and macro guidance that results in non-achievement of the desired goals and eventually leads to the wastage of resources.
