Slidell, Our Kind of Town

Slidell is our kind of town because it's what we wanted it to become. Everyone has been working to shape it, including ministers from virtually every church, elected and appointed officials, business men and women, professional organizers, educators, caring citizens, and last, but not least, God. Like puzzle pieces, we've gathered to create a living portrait that we love and cherish. This book describes some of what caused this to happen here.
