Eleven year old Sienna lived happily with her Dad and Mom, Nudan and Amber, on the beautiful Island called Dove. Their province was a model for peace where a lawmaker, a mediator, and a judge governed with fairness and honor. Right before a celebration for 1000 years of Peace, three power-driven Generals from the evil Maggot empire invaded the island. They had kidnapped a girl from a neighboring island who possessed unusual powers to be their scout in overthrowing the rulers of Dove. The Island was overrun with terror, and the island's radiance was destroyed. During the raid on Sienna's home, a tiny chest containing secrets about her family was stolen. The contents were essential for Sienna to mature into her purpose when she turned twelve, but Amber disappeared and Nudan was struck down when defending their home. So at eleven Sienna was orphaned and left on her own...
