I’ve been lucid dreaming since I was a child and didn’t know what it was called. I wasn’t taught how to do it, it just came to me as a way for “escaping” from nightmares. I didn’t realize that not everyone did such a thing. Once I found out that this skill can be learned and expanded on, I searched for information on it. There was some information out there, but it was largely dated and certainly not well presented, IMHO.
