"The settings are interesting and I think readers will like the fact that the story moves from New York to Dublin to Poland and back to the United States, providing some interesting history lessons on the way. The recipes/cooking descriptions are a nice touch, and above all the characters are done very well. Morgan's extended family - cousins, grandparents, stepsisters.etc. -are all very real, while Morgan's efforts to find his mother and then being reunited as a family makes for a very compelling read."
