Scars of the Prophet

Tom Judah is no ordinary Marine. After three tours of duty in the killing zones of Iraq, he has been let go by the Marine Corps. On a bus ride across the US, he discovers things about himself and his psyche that no soldier should ever know. Traveling across country, he saves a young woman Events beyond his control erupt into a series of flashbacks to his time in Iraq, and that killing instinct which made him so highly effective in the field has made him a threat on native sail. During his journey, Tom discovers and that sometimes a shattered veteran can never return home.
