Sad Mermaid

Daphne Delray is the only one who knows humans are about to be fossil fuel. To her, it is no surprise that embryos have webbed fingers. Humans are doomed because they believe they are Gods. Daphne knows they are really only fish recycling machines with snake eggs hatching in their hearts and nesting in their minds. She can't tell a soul, though. They wouldn't get it. Now as she looks to her dreams to make sense of her struggles, she finds she is a pawn in a mythological chess game between Immortal Gods waging war for her soul. For only Daphne knows the city coming from the clouds shall sink to the bottom of the sea.
