Rule of Reason Containing the Art of Logic (1551)

Logic is an art to reason probably on both parts of all matters that be put forth so far as the nature of everything can bear. This art is divided into two parts. The first part frames things together in knitting words. The second part consists of finding out matter, and searching stuff agreeable to the cause.
