Dare we sit with ourselves, beside each other, just as we are. Embrace, admire and meet your authentic self without judgement. Embrace each imperfection, mistake, insecurity. Sit with each part of yourself. Unapologetically YOU, as you are. Rewired became a series of written reminders, unpolished moments, reflections, to encourage both myself and others to reflect and widen the lens. Stand up feeling empowered and feel a greater sense of belonging.
Placing my words onto paper was not a smooth road. Imperfections, """"what ifs"""", typos. So what? Let it all go, feel pride, shine a light on it and unapologetically smile with pride. you matter, your words matter, you are seen. I promise to stand up with my head held high after hitting send, just as I am.
My hope is one person reads these pages and in the stillness and silence, feels valued and sense of belonging. May this have a ripple effect. Rewired is a reminder to all: you are seen, loved, worthy, beautiful as you are. Rewired is written with my full heart, encouraging myself and others not shrink, but take up space.
