Principles of Proteomics

The large-scale study of proteins is known as proteomics. A set of proteins that is produced and modified by an organism or system is named as proteome. Proteomics has led to the identification of a large number of proteins. It is involved in the discovery of proteomes from various levels of protein composition, structure and activities.
