Praying Mantises of the Caribbean

This peer reviewed text includes a dichotomous key to all 25 genera of Mantodea found in the Caribbean. Detailed descriptions are provided for each of the 39 species found within this region. One new species is described and two names have been reinstated as valid. Species treatments include voucher specimen photographs, precise morphological descriptions, accurate morphometry, natural history documentation, exhaustive historical literature review, and detailed distribution range maps. There are 285 pages of text, including 74 color photographs of live specimens.
