Encounter Pictograms and Ideographics is the third volume of the series of Poetry Therapy by Dr. Liansong Chen who is a pathologist, photographer and poet living in North Bay of California. The series includes Encounter Space and Time as the first volume and the second volume of Encounter You and Me.
Dr. Chen has spent years of studying origin and evolution of Chinese characters since medical school. In this collection, his unique way of seeing and reading Chinese words gives readers new inspiration and special interest when read daily Chinese characters again. It connects the breathing of one of oldest languages to our modern digital world with more meaningful profoundness.
