Beskrivelse af Poetry - As Simple as 'black & White'
After surviving a surgical mishap at the end of 2013, M.C. Holman was propelled to voice her thoughts, and let others like herself know they are not alone when it comes to their own feelings and beliefs.
She gathered some of the poetry she wrote before and after her horrific experience, and added them to her latest pieces. Some poems were written as she lay for several weeks in a hospital bed, others during her eight months of recovery time at home.
The author also added selected pieces to her more recent compositions to create this multidimensional collection of 140 poems.
The themes are conveyed from her heart, containing words of love and loss, birth and death, universal love, fifth-dimensional love and reincarnated love, all presented lightly, simply, and in varied styles and lyrical forms.
Her unique manner of writing follows no specific law of poetry, and yet, it flows effortlessly, transporting the reader into the poet's mind.
Poetry lovers are sure to find several works they will connect with personally.
About the Author: M.C. Holman is also the author of two paranormal romance novels Hidden Influence - Unveiling the Truth and Drifting into the Unknown. She is currently working on her fourth book, a book of memoirs. She lives in the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, with her husband and children.
