Poetic License

This is a collection of poetry about poetry, a genre of poetry called ars poetica. In modern times it includes any poem about poetry. This assemblage takes it a little further and includes poems that reflect or derive directly from other poems, because they too are an inquiry into the creative process of a poet's art. The second half of the book includes a number of list poems, written as an exercise in using my poetic skills to create meaning out of a random list of words, which is what is poetic art is all about.
