What can possibly go wrong when Penelope's mother hosts her very first book club? Do the caterers mix up the days and are fifteen starving guests left with nothing to eat...BINGO! With the night starting off on the wrong foot, Penelope must save the day. As her cooking skills are put to the test, she and the "secret" cooking club try to whip up delicious appetizers to feed the hungry readers. But as the mac 'n' cheese burns to a crisp, potatoes look like little black logs, and a mysterious ingredient accidentally gets added to the peanut butter bears, can this story possibly have a happy ending? Or will this night be known as the ultimate catering disaster?
