Beskrivelse af North Zealand from the Sky
For several years, Nicolas Cosedis has photographed North Zealand from a small Cessna 172. With an open window and camera in hand, and from altitudes ranging from 500 to 10,000 feet, he captures not only the obvious highlights but also the beauty of often un noticed aspects.
In this book, he shows us the many faces of North Zealand, from Hellerup to Helsingør, and Hundested. Here, you’ll find beautiful villas along Strandvejen, the North Zealand of kings with its forests, lakes and summerhouses, Hillerød with Frederiksborg Slot, and the old industrial town of Frederiksværk. Landscapes shaped by the Ice Age, and coastlines stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s nature and culture, all seen from above, so we see what we know in an entirely new way. The photographs are accompanied by texts written by Holger Dahl, author and arts and architecture editor at the newspaper Berlingske.
Nicolas Cosedis has previously published ‘Copenhagen from my Plane’, ‘Copenhagen from the Sky‘, and ‘Denmark from the Sky‘.
