CDP is a well known environmental standard for reporting, aligned with TCFD (Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures) recommendations. CDP data meet demand of investors and customers of corporate bodies as well as it tracks progress towards building sustainable economy. Questionnaire provided by CDP in the online disclosure platform is required to be submitted through Online Response System (ORS). Sector specific questions may appear for those Companies in high impact sectors affecting energy emission, biodiversity, carbon footprints, etc. Those sectors may include cement, chemicals, oil and gas, transport service, coal mining, paper industry, etc. Companies are eligible to fill minimum version questionnaire if they are filing the questionnaire for the first time or annual revenue/sales are less than US $ 250 million. CDP use scoring methodology to measure impact through three detailed questionnaires.
