Lewisia Anna wants to live the greatest Story ever told by walking the treetops with an elite group of protectors known as the Shamar who spend their days guarding the Amharclann against the threat of the Inimicus-destructive beasts, who if allowed to enter, will ravage the place she calls home. In the most guarded city in the under-lands, where the days are lit by a glowing mist and transporters travel the waters below the city that dwells in the trees, Lewis finds herself wounded and in the presence of a most unexpected enemy.
