Legend of Crossover Creek

Sgt. Ben Freeman never dreamed he would serve his country fighting a battle in Iraq, and is mortally homesick. A deadly sniper attack abruptly alters Ben's existence, and somehow his spirit returns back to the place he loved the most, his cabin at Crossover Creek in the mountains of Virginia, scene of a famous Indian legend. When a successful writer named Abby, herself battling a fatal illness, moves into Ben's cabin, reality takes a distinct turn for both of them. From both sides of life's veil, and out of disparate states, the two begin a relationship like none before as they fall in love. But can they ever be together? Interwoven with the local native legend about two star crossed lovers, the two stories run parallel revealing a spectrum of possibility, desire and fulfillment. An enchanting ghost story with a twist.
