Young Jack cannot do much right! his mother keeps explaining how to do his chores well and, no matter how hard he tries, he cannot get it right! This story is a funny and clear re-telling of the classic tale written and illustrated to make reading enjoyable for early readers (Grades 1 & 2). It is a fine way to help a youngster build confidence while reading a great story.
