The February 24, 1966 overthrow of the progressive, socialist government of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah proved to be a deathblow to all people of African descent. Nkrumah called for a Union of African Socialist States, the only permanent solution for the exploitation and oppression of African people worldwide. How much better the African world would be today for all African people had he continued to struggle for Pan-Africanism!
