Kaios

"In the beginning, there was Kaios. Even when light was given to dispel this Kaios, still it remained. Kaios remained in the living heart. Kaios arose from the dying heart. Kaios was ever present. And then Kaios was over present. A Kaios was created far greater than any before. This Kaios was unprecedented. This Kaios was horrible. This Kaios forced Nature to rewrite itself, designating adaptations of the word to represent this Kaios. Neither Chaos nor Khaos ever amounted to Kaios. Nature did not make such a grave mistake however. Nature was forced to correct the mistake of Nature's most natureless."Kaios was born, absent of any prior knowledge, into a world, also absent of any prior knowledge. Her first and only mentor was a master of time and deception and raised the small and inexperienced girl to become the most feared and powerful individual the world had ever seen. She is cold, indifferent, and willing to do whatever is necessary to ascend to the highest power. Another voice enters her life after the original departs and attempts to turn her down a different path. Is it too late to change for the girl? Is there hope for someone who has only known darkness to see the light? This is the story of the ageless and timeless Kaios; but more importantly, this is an exploration of the danger of intentional and situational corruption at a young age and the effects it has on their mind and attitudes toward the world and others.
