Beskrivelse af Introduction To Mindfulness
Mindfulness has become a buzzword in recent years, and rightly so, for the practice has proved to enable its practitioners, ordinary people like you and me, to experience stress free living in a frenetic world.
A number of years ago due to extreme pressure of work I crashed and burned, that's when I discovered what Thich Nhat Hanh called the 'Miracle of Meditation.' Regular practice of meditation enabled me to quieten my mind, to find the place of still tranquillity deep in my soul that was there all alone, but lay undetected, a place described by Thomas R Kelly (1893-1941), a prominent Quaker of his day as, "Deep within each of us there is an amazing inner sanctuary of the soul, a holy place, a divine centre, a speaking voice to which we can continually return."
This book will enable the reader to still the incessant chatter in our minds and to find that place of inner peace that we all yearn.
