Beskrivelse af INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY-BASED LEARNING STRATEGIES APPLICATIONS
This material is a compilation of instructional design and technology
work in higher education. The content covers different applications of
pedagogy principles and instructional strategies and methods to suggest
curriculum design improvements. Since the author has worked for higher
education institutions for many years, his accumulated knowledge and
experience from participating in curriculum design projects has been the
primary motivational source for creating this book.
It aims to put together several research papers written by the author during
his educational journey within the Instructional Design and Technology
Education Specialist program. There are instructional design and technology
applications from the author's perspective due to the skills acquired from
his 31-years' teaching and education leadership experience.
The book has four sections, and each section contributes to different
instructional design and technology problems identified from analyzing case
studies related to education and instruction and researching instructional
design as a profession. Section I reveals the implications of technological
advancements on global education and training from the author's sight.
Section II addresses legal issues analysis in higher education. Section III
focuses on curriculum design projects conducted by the author in the
context of higher education academic programs. Section III, sections IV,
and V are focused on instructional design and technology as a profession.
Dr. Ernesto Gonzalez is a Business and Economics
Division Head at Florida National University. He has been
teaching management, marketing, and technology-
based instructional design for over the past 31 years in
higher education institutions. He is active in research as
well. Professor Gonzalez has published several research
papers in management, marketing, student motivation
and retention, contributed to books 'chapters, and currently serves in
accreditation and journal peer-review committees. He is presently interested
in educational technology applications to enhance management and
marketing student learning experience.
