In Gold's Name

In Gold's Name is set in 1520 during the Spanish conquest of Mexico. Antonio Vega is a musketeer on Hernan Cortes' expeditionary force and the finest marksman in the army. After arriving in Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capital, Vega is given orders to find the Aztec's gold, hidden before the Spaniards' arrival in the great city. Setting off with 10 local guides and three of his fellow countrymen, he embarks on a journey without maps into the heart of the wilderness.
