Beskrivelse af House on Seven Gables Road
Turn back to a time when our world was filled with hippies, protestors and young men being sent off to war. Families were challenged to find a way to continue as everything they knew changed around them
Darwin Mc Reedy, owner and caretaker of Seven Gables is doing his part by offering affordable off base housing for the young military families affected by the war in Viet Nam. A restored mansion turned into efficiency apartments becomes a needed refuge for two young families.
Donna Drewland is a military wife and mother of two young girls, Kylie and Tara. She is forced to become their sole caregiver when her husband Stan is sent to Viet Nam.
Tessa Beechum is an abused wife running from her husband. She is trying to protect her two young children, Lulu and Jeffery from the monster she married.
Seven Gables becomes the refuge these two young families need. The friendships become woven tightly together, unbreakable by time or distance. Though grown and separated by distance, the women and children still remain close thirty years later.
But secrets from the past are unearthed and it is up to Detective Del Haughton to piece together the crime scene and trace the lives of the people who once lived at Seven Gables.
The deeper he digs into the past, the more Detective Haughton realizes there's more to this story. As you turn the pages the past will be revealed and buried secrets will finally be shared.
