Beskrivelse af Home, Smithers
Thomas Tucker Rollinger, aka Rolly, is the third generation heir to a jam fortune who wants to live modestly in an old colonial house in Connecticut growing exotic plants in his greenhouse. But his splendid quiet is interrupted when a nouveau riche neighbor begs him to find out who stole her precious Chinese antiques from the library during a recent dinner party. He resists on the grounds that he has pressing business affairs to attend to until unforeseen circumstances draw him into a web of deceit he's forced to unravel. And when the going gets tough, he turns to the one person whose astute advice he most trusts - his faithful chauffeur Smithers.
