Head and Neck Oncology

Head and neck cancer refers to a group of malignant diseases that originate from the oral cavity, nasal cavity, nose, paranasal sinuses, larynx, pharynx, salivary glands, or skin of the face. Some of the most prominent causes of head and neck cancer include consumption of alcohol and tobacco, betel nut, infection, gastroesophageal reflux disease, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and exposure to UV and certain chemicals.
