Beskrivelse af Gelled Glass
"Do you want to know the secrets of a brand new glass technique that holds great artistic potential?"
I call this technique ‘Gelled Glass’, and I want to share it with you, because I am curious to see how it might develop in the gifted hands of other glassmakers; beginners and professionals alike. To that end, I have put together this introduction and tutorial.
The publication is intended as an accessible and simple introduction to the basic principles of Gelled Glass, which allows for new and unprecedented ways of glassmaking. Curiosity and my love of the sea and marine life put me on course to discover the properties of alginate, extracted from seaweeds, which ultimately allowed me to develop the Gelled Glass technique.
With this manual, dear reader, I hope to spark your curiosity and motivation to work with Gelled Glass.
I guarantee that you will experience bumps along the way, but it will be worth it!
HAVE FUN!
