In author Micah Moore's first book, he explores a wide range of emotion. Beginning on a jovial note, "From Opposite Ends of the Spectrum" makes a slow descent to a deep, rich darkness that will grab the reader and guide them through the corners of Moore's mind. From love and loss, to religion and mediocrity, this book covers quite an array of topics. "I was going through a really rough time in my life," explained Moore when asked about the possibly excessive darkness to his later poems in the book, "writing just helped me to put what I was feeling onto paper, and it really helped me get through everything."
