Beskrivelse af Folly (1906)
Folly is a novel written by Edith Rickert in 1906. The book is set in the early 20th century and tells the story of a young woman named Anne Warwick who is struggling to find her place in the world. Anne is a talented artist, but she is also impulsive and prone to making bad decisions. When she falls in love with a man named John Sargent, she becomes obsessed with him and begins to neglect her own life and career. As Anne's obsession with John grows, she becomes increasingly isolated from her friends and family, and her behavior becomes more and more erratic. Eventually, Anne realizes that her love for John is a folly and that she needs to focus on herself and her own goals. The novel is a poignant exploration of the dangers of obsession and the importance of self-discovery.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
