Getting into the car and shutting the door, Shane asked, "Are you ready for an awesome day and year?""Definitely!" I replied, sincerely. Two days ago, Shane, my secret love interest and one of my best friends, had called me. During the phone call, he had asked if he could take me to school today. Immediately, I had said yes!
