As a fellow traveler with Peter, he had firsthand access to the stories of Jesus. His account is so trustworthy, almost 90% of Matthew has a direct link to Mark. Mark was probably written around 64 AD, a little over 30 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus. As you journal through Mark, you will be invited to identify three words or phrases that speak to you from the scripture of the day. By interacting with the stories of Jesus, you will have a more in-depth experience. Also, you will be invited to write down your prayers for the day.
