Beskrivelse af Explorations in Theology 5
Most of the essays in this collection have never been published in England before. They reflect three main concerns: philosophical issues in theology, the contribution to theology made by Marxist-Leninist thought, and ethical reflections. Titles include ""The Future of Man,"" ""Lenin and Theology,"" ""Absolute and Relative History,"" ""Finality in Ethics,"" ""Tillich, Frege, Kittel: Some Reflections on a Dark Theme,"" ""Parable and Sacrament,"" and ""Tragedy and Ethics.""
Donald MacKinnon (1913-1994) was Fellow and Tutor in Philsophy at Keble College, Oxford, and for thirteen years was Regius Professor of Moral Philosophy at Aberdeen. From 1960 has was Norris-Hulse Professor of Divinity at Cambridge and Fellow of Corpus Christi College.
