Everlasting Rain

In the year 2501, sorcery emerged as a human genetic disorder. By 2523, the world as the Ancestors had known it was destroyed by magic. Everlasting Rain fell where sorcerers tore the sky, and countries were split into tiny islands over the next few millennia. A new world power emerged called The Tripartite; a trio of Sovereigns, Scours, and Swashbucklers, ruthlessly competing for rulership of the Islands of Na'Revas.In 4128, rebel leader, Lana Hale, is set up by her adopted brother, Felix, and arrested by Sovereigns in Ortivana. Spending three years being tortured, Hale is sprang from jail by a mysterious Swashbuckler, Admiral Esmeralda Rivera, who brings news that Hale's sorcerer sister, Cecerie, has been abducted. Reluctantly trusting Esmeralda and scared of their intense attraction, Hale sails with her to the island of Anferan, finding work as a thief and smuggler. Following Cecerie's trail, Hale soon learns they are both pawns in numerous quests for power.
