Follow along in this adventure featuring Jacob Horn and the frontier settlement of Drapers Forge, set in Eastern Kentucky and Western Virginia in 1774-75.
The tensions of the pre-revolution years are building to an exciting climax, with the survival of the settlement at stake in the battle of wits and firepower that ensue. The British Regulars allied with Shawnee Indians strike fear into all gathered together, forcing them to resort to ingenuity to gain the upper hand.
About the Author
Richard Sims is a retired aerospace worker and a volunteer archivist for the Tacoma Historical Society who finds peace and entertainment in writing.
Drapers Forge is his first novel. Other leisure activities include reading history and shooting historical firearms. He lives in Rineyville, Kentucky, with his wife, Deborah.
