Harper Lee's immortal quote from To Kill a Mockingbird is happily changed to "You can choose your friends but I couldn't have chosen a better family," by tiny heroine Madeleine (Maddy) Marie Jensen when referring to her 'Divoon Daddy', a feeling heartily endorsed by Maddy's twelve year-old fiancé, Harry, and an endearment which leads the two through a tale of riotous fun, mystery, and mayhem.
