Devils in the Country

- The Jack Dunn Story

Bag om Devils in the Country

In 2006, Jack White learns his book was copied by Dan Black and files a lawsuit. A US federal judge suspects it involves his former Yale Law School classmates, the slick Bill and Hillary Clinton groups in Washington. After he loses the legal action Jack writes more novels, getting a National Writing Award, but Dan Black makes $1 Billion on the copied story. Soon later, an insider trader of Goldman Sachs tells Jack he was cheated by the court by not getting a jury trial. She wants him to file a second lawsuit because Black used the story first, in another book. Goldman is up to something besides stealing the Treasury's Bail Out money. Jack needs to expose the real players behind the scenes. Out of the blue, a private investigator calls Jack from Rome. Not just by chance, he becomes entangled in plots much more treacherous than the US Justice System. In Croatia, the Zagreb mummy holds ancient secrets. It is linked to an imposter Catholic Bishop of the bloodthirsty Ustase Fascists from WWII, many who escaped capture through the Vatican to Argentina. By 2015, the fast-paced action leads Jack to the discovery of the Whore of Babylon. She is mysteriously being adored-- abnormally --by unsuspecting, addicted Facebook and Instagram social media users.
