Destruction and Demons

When demons aren't pure evil and not all angels have the best intentions in mind, who can tell which side is right? Willow Crypt is dead, but instead of finding herself in Heaven, Willow finds herself stuck in a place called Limbo with only her thoughts to keep her company. Already confused beyond belief, things go from bad to worse once Willow is told that she has a choice- she can either go to Heaven for the rest of eternity, or she could become an angel, giving her the option to return to Earth and join the never-ending war between Heaven and Hell. But how can Willow make a decision when going upstairs could mean never seeing her family again, and becoming an angel would result in her brother becoming her mortal enemy? Conner Crypt stopped being a human the same day his sister died. Moments later, he allowed a famous demon called Legion to take him to Canaan, an underground city populated with demons and gargoyles, surrounded by a lake filled with black, shadowy creatures that were once souls. With Legion as his teacher, Conner begins to learn what it means to fight alongside the forces of Hell, but he can't help but notice that Legion insists on keeping secrets. As Conner is encouraged to consume souls and revel in bloodlust, can he salvage some scrap of his old self, or is he another lost cause? As Conner struggles with both personal and literal devils, Willow fights to decide between life and death. Is the Crypt family capable of recovery, or will demons destroy what little semblance of humanity they have left?
