Triplets were born to King Wagmar and his Queen under the auspices of aligned planets. Her life and theirs were to be sacrificed, by order of the King, but the Queen's handmaiden secreted two of them out of the castle where they were to grow up not knowing they had a sister name Kn'dra - who would try to assume the Triple Thrones of Thueniss without them.
