Dark Heaven

Dark Heaven encourages the reader to journey through and meditate on some of the darkest horrors that can only be found hidden deep within ourselves. These shadowy terrors torment us relentlessly while hiding in obscurity. Dark Heaven is a story about a nameless person who struggles with these shadowy tormentors, namely fear, self-doubt, and self-acceptance. Not even in death does our protagonist find respite from these torments that seek to imprison victims within their own mental prisons. Yet, it is also a story full of hope, acceptance, and unwavering love. Though it touches upon gender identification, it is a story many can identify with as it is an introspective study that focuses on our struggles with ourselves. We journey with the nameless protagonist and others as the horrors and truth of their existence after death become apparent. In time, some come to realize that they have given fear and doubt endless power and must now reclaim this power if they are to survive. Slowly, some see that their biggest tormenter and jailer is themselves.
