Beskrivelse af Computing Love
Computing Love, a visionary novel inspired by A Course in Miracles, tells the story of a scientist, Kyle Williams, who is transformed by visitations and guidance from two spiritual mentors. They invade his dreams, his home and his life, then set him on a path he cannot understand, declaring life itself is an illusion. They send Kyle on a journey so incredible it forces him to question everything he ever thought he knew, including the very meaning of life and humanity's place in the universe.
Kyle is building the world's first quantum super computer, intending it will solve problems-war, crime, hatreds, poverty-that have plagued human society for centuries. He understands the immense power a quantum computer can bestow upon its owners and fears the worst. In the wrong hands, bad actors can use such a machine to inflict irrevocable harm on humanity. He becomes obsessed with being not only the first to bring a quantum computer to life. He hatches a plan to build a machine so powerful it will outperform and dominate all others. And, most important, he insists his machine be used only for peaceful purposes that benefit all humanity.
He and his team struggle against forces that want to condemn his work to the ash bin of science, even as Kyle strives to learn how he might "reboot" the mind of humanity and bring love into the world.
Filled with romance, death and love in its many incarnations, Computing Love celebrates the creative imagination and the inconceivable power of love. Set in the 2030s, it brushes against the edges of science fiction while exploring spirituality and the deepest levels of the human mind. Like the timeless wisdom that inspired it, Computing Love illuminates our world of duality and shows that love is the only creative force in the universe.
